The Basic Esthetics Course
A state required 600-hour course.
As an ESTHETICIAN Student you will gain an in-depth understanding of how the skin works and responds to formulas and treatment methods, and you’ll learn how to apply that knowledge in practice for performing treatments and selecting appropriate solutions to address skin issues. You will also go beyond the layers of the skin to become proficient in both the fundamentals of esthetics, specialties of makeup application, and hair removal.
You will learn several disciplines, including chemistry, anatomy, and biology, as a foundation for:
• Client Consultations and Skin Analysis
• Facial Treatments and Skincare
• Body Treatments and Wellness
• Makeup Techniques
• How to Use Machines and Electrical Facials
• Wax Hair Removal
• Preparation for the Virginia State Licensing Exam
This all-inclusive private esthetics curriculum will foster the development of your natural talents, your professionalism, and your passion. Through small intimate classes of theory and practice performing treatments on real clients, you’ll be prepared with the knowledge and skills you need to pass your
state exam and thrive in a professional setting.

Over 23 years, I served as an East Coast Corporate Skincare Educator for several world-renowned professional skincare brands.
I've trained thousands of Estheticians and provided coaching for hundreds of spas.
Additionally, I've been a guest instructor at numerous schools over the years.
